Plant walks in Whatcom County/Bellingham
Are you intrigued by wild plants?
Many of our local plants provide food, medicine, and support
for our well-being. If you would like to identify wild plants
with an herbalist, join me for a plant walk!
I will share methods of safely identifying wild plants,
concepts of herbal medicine, careful harvesting,
and preparing botanical remedies.

Custom plant walks are available for individuals and small groups.
Choose your favorite trail, backyard, or nature area
or I will pick a convenient place with a variety of plants.
Rates:  $25 per person for groups of 3 or more.
$100 for a custom walk, i.e. your backyard.
Plant walks are approximately 2 hours.

"Sonia has a special connection and understanding
of the plants around us and how they help us with self-care
and our overall well-being.  She easily tunes in with individuals,
listening carefully, to assist them in ways they are seeking.
Her Plant Walk is fabulous with a wealth of useful information.
She shares various aspects of the plants and includes
different methods for extracting their medicines.
You walk away with a greater sense of all the wonderful
plants growing around you and ways you
can connect with them yourself.
 "  ~Patricia, Bellingham
